Cheshire plastic resin distributor Osterman & Co. said it has formed a joint venture with a Mexican distributor.
Osterman Plastic de Mexico S. de R.L. is the formal name of Osterman’s venture with Mafra S.A. de C.V.
Osterman said its research showed supply gaps in the Mexican market. The joint venture is meant to provide more resin choices, services and technical rigor, Osterman said.
Among the materials the business distributes: polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene and engineered resins.

The company owns Latin American Polymers LLC and Quimtec Polymers LLC, which distribute plastics in Central America, South America and the Caribbean.
