Marion Manufacturing Company, which specializes in metal stamping and CNC machining, has acquired Jo-Vek Tool & Die Manufacturing Co.
Cheshire-based Marion Manufacturing Company has acquired Jo-Vek Tool & Die Manufacturing Co. in Bristol.
Marion, which specializes in metal stamping and CNC machining, is in its 80th anniversary year. It makes parts for a range of industries including aerospace, electronics, telecomms and medical devices. The company was named as an SBA Manufacturer of the Year in 2026.
Marion is led by President Douglas Johnson.
Jo-Vek, which has been operating since 1952, has a similar set of capabilities. Since 2022, the company has been owned by Paul DeLeo. The company operates out of a 23,000-square-foot facility in Bristol.
“Joining Marion Manufacturing creates exciting new opportunities for everyone involved,” DeLeo said as part of the announcement. “Jo-Vek has built an outstanding reputation over the years, and I’m proud to see that legacy continue.”
Marion says that all Jo-Vek employees will be retained as part of the integration.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The Cheshire company says the acquisition will ensure continuity for customers while providing expanded manufacturing capacity, additional technical expertise, and greater production flexibility.
