Cheshire’s Wayback Burgers said it has signed a franchise agreement to open 47 restaurants in South Texas.
The agreement is with a Texas native, though Wayback did not identify him.
Wayback has more than 100 locations across the U.S. with plans to expand its presence in Canada, Mexico, Pakistan and Argentina, it said.
Wayback said it also hopes to open restaurants in the Middle East and North Africa.
