A limited liability company affiliated with a Cheshire-based builder and contractor recently paid $2.25 million for a Glastonbury office building.
The United States Fire Insurance Co. sold the 32,738-square-foot, 35-year-old office building on 5 acres at 855 Winding Brook Drive, in Glastonbury, to NP 855 LLC, in a deal logged by the town May 17.
The buying LLC’s principal is Joseph Nosal, of Cheshire. Nosal is also president of Cheshire-based Nosal Builders. Attempts to reach him were not immediately successful Tuesday morning.
On its website, Nosal Builders said it provides general contracting, building, construction management and design-build contracting to commercial, industrial, municipal and residential clients throughout Connecticut.
According to town assessing records, the Glastonbury building last sold for $3.2 million in 2014.Â
The building was 50% leased at closing, according to John M. McCormick Jr., executive vice president of CBRE. McCormick represented the buyer. Patrick Mulready, senior vice president with CBRE, represented the seller.Â
