Cheryl Chase is a supporter of many causes in Greater Hartford.
She is a founding trustee of the Connecticut Science Center and the center’s chair since before it opened in 2009. Under her leadership, the Science Center exceeded its 2009 fund raising goal by raising more than $300,000 in less than three months.
Chase has also served for 10 years on Foodshare’s board of directors and capital campaign committee. She regularly extends the Chase family matching dollars challenge in Hartford’s annual Walk Against Hunger. Chase is also a trustee of the Wadsworth Atheneum and serves as chair of the Atheneum’s facilities committee.
