Middlebury-based Chemtura Corp., a manufacturer or specialty chemicals, appointed Robert S. Wedinger chief business officer.
He will retain his previous role as group president of performance specialties and will be responsible for Chemtura’s commercial organization and its four businesses: polymer additives, performance specialties, crop and consumer products.
Wedinger joined Chemtura in 2006 as vice president and general manager of process chemicals and polymers. Wedinger came to Chemtura from J.M. Huber Corp. in Maryland.Â
