CHC doctor named VP of CT Chapter of American Academy of Pediatrics

Community Health Center Inc. (CHC) pediatrician Dr. Robert Dudley, based at CHC’s New Britain site, was named vice president of the Connecticut Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (CTAAP) board of directors, effective Nov. 1.

Dudley has been a member of the executive board for the past four years, also serving on the School Health Committee and as the chapter facilitator for the national Community Access to Child Health (CATCH) grant program. As vice president, he will work with the organization’s leadership on one of its major initiatives – improving screening and referral rates for adolescents with substance abuse issues. Dudley’s position on the board will allow to him to work with the national AAP leadership to identify and advocate for issues that promote the health of all children.
