GIV Mobile, which donates 8 percent of its customers’ monthly payments to charities, is now available in Hartford, it announced.
GIV is a no-contract service available on T-Mobile’s network. Chicago’s PTel Mobile launched the product last year.
It allows customers to designate a list of up to three charities, and GIV will donate up to $50 per year for each customer.
GIV plans cost $40 or $50 per month, depending on which data cap a customer selects.
