Champion in Action

Citizens Bank announced that Co-opportunity Inc., a Hartford-based, community development organization dedicated to creating economic prosperity by increasing the income, earnings and wealth of low-income individuals and families, has been named its Champion in Action® for the third quarter of 2009 in the area of financial literacy. The award includes a $25,000 grant from the Citizens Bank Foundation.
