CCSU building events set for Wed.

The governor and other state authorities will join officials from Central Connecticut State University on Wednesday to break ground for the New Britain school’s new Academic Building and to open the renovated campus library.

The 11 a.m. ceremony will take place at the Academic Building’s future entrance, between Davidson Hall and Sanford Hall.

The $38 million building is set for completion in 2013.

The speakers will include Gov. Dannel P. Malloy, CCSU President Jack Miller, and Department of Administrative Services Commissioner Donald J. DeFronzo, who oversees the Department of Construction Services.
