The Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology will lead a panel discussion Thursday in Hartford on the importance of zero-emission vehicles and the hydrogen refueling infrastructure to support them.
The panel at the Northeast Passenger Transportation Association Conference at the Connecticut Convention Center will include representatives from Proton Onsite of Wallingford, which has a hydrogen fueling station onsite; New Haven Transit District of Hamden, and U.S. Hybrid of South Windsor.
CCAT, which will moderate, will use the panel to discuss the deployment of hydrogen fueling facilities in the Northeast, which is vital to support buses and cars that run on fuel cells.
The conference is designed to articulate transportation options in the region. Other speakers at the event include leaders from the Federal Transit Administration, Connecticut Transportation Commissioner James Redeker, and MetroHartford Alliance President & CEO Oz Griebel.
