CCAT expands offices for tech start-ups

The Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology is growing its East Hartford facility with 10 new offices totaling 2,500 sq. ft. to accommodate its incubator for startup, technology-based businesses.

The 10 new offices will help the CCAT incubator grow beyond its current 30 startups. Entrepreneurs can receive grants up to $30,000 for their projects.

The facility offers resources including offices, laboratories for manufacturing including additive manufacturing, research and development space, and meeting facilities.

The incubator is run in conjunction with UConn’s Entrepreneurial Center and Intellectual Property Law Clinic, the Connecticut Technology Council, and the University of Hartford Partnership Office.
