CBT comes to Windsor

Connecticut Bank & Trust is holding an opening ceremony for its sixth branch this morning, on 148 Broad St. in Windsor. The bank opened in March 2004 with branches in West Hartford, Glastonbury and headquarters in Hartford. For the first quarter, the bank reported $155 million in assets, up $19 million from the close of 2006. Though the bank has yet to turn a profit, its losses are slimming slightly; the $638,000 it lost in the first quarter was up $239,000 from the $877,000 loss it reported for the first quarter last year.
