Commercial real estate services firm CBRE plans to relocate its Stamford offices within downtown this summer, as the company also announced several new leases and renewals it brokered at the Stamford Plaza office campus.
CBRE said it signed a lease for 9,505 square feet on the 14th floor of Stamford Plaza, a four-building, 1 million-square-foot office complex on Tresser Boulevard and Elm Street. The company is scheduled to relocate from One Stamford Forum at 201 Tresser Blvd. on Aug. 1.
Additional new leases at the property include Shay Capital leasing 2,409 square feet and Hudson Ferry Capital taking 2,478 square feet, both at 1 Stamford Plaza.
Renewals brokered by CBRE include Hexcel recommitting to 23,961 square feet at 2 Stamford Plaza. A financial institution renewed 6,167 square feet in the same building, while Trisura extended its 2,340-square-foot lease there. An unnamed investment firm also renewed a 6,840-square-foot lease at 1 Stamford Plaza.
CBRE said the lease transactions totaled about 54,000 square feet. Brokers David Block, Jacqueline Novotny and Joseph Weaver represented the deals for the property, which is managed by RFR.
Amenities at Stamford Plaza include a landscaped outdoor plaza, restaurant, fitness center and tenant services including a car wash and dry cleaning.
