HMS Healthcare President/CEO Donna R. Galluzzo is the new chair of the Connecticut Business & Industry Association board of directors, which also seated several new board members and confirmed Joe Brennan as its new chief executive officer.
Galluzzo succeeds James P. Torgerson, president and chief executive officer of UIL Holdings Corp., who becomes the immediate past chair of the state’s largest business organization.
Robert S. Sobolewski, president and chief executive officer of ebm-papst Inc. in Farmington, and John Ciulla, executive vice president with Webster Bank in Stamford, were elected vice chairs of CBIA’s board.
Brennan was elected to succeed John Rathgeber, who is retiring Feb. 1 as CEO after 37 years with CBIA.
