The Connecticut Business & Industry Association said Tuesday it has named a new chief financial officer.
The state’s largest business organization said Alyssa Gorecki will succeed Mary Bergamo, who is retiring after 36 years with the organization.
Gorecki will oversee financial planning, compliance and reporting for CBIA and its affiliates, as well as human resources, office administration and information technology.
Gorecki is a CPA and a graduate of the University of Connecticut.
Before joining CBIA, she spent nine years working in the biotech industry, where she led corporate accounting functions, streamlined financial operations, and supported reporting and regulatory requirements.
She began her career as an auditor at Deloitte and RSM.
