Just under six weeks until Election Day, the state’s largest business organization has announced a statewide advertising campaign to help educate voters on business issues.
The Connecticut Business & Industry Association, which has about 10,000 members, said Wednesday the campaign — titled “Who’s Working for You?” — is intended to help voters better understand where candidates stand on the issues.
CBIA president and CEO Chris DiPentima said the campaign gives state residents tools and resources to help them have informed conversations with candidates.
Those resources include CBIA’s 2026 legislative scorecards, which illustrate how lawmakers voted “on this year’s most consequential affordability and economic growth policy decisions,” the organization said.
“Affordability is the defining issue of this election and the choices we make over the next year will determine where businesses invest and whether families can build a future here,” DiPentima said in a statement.
In response to a question from Hartford Business Journal, Scott Beaulieu, CBIA’s media relations manager, said the organization “is making a substantial investment” in the campaign but that the “total dollar cost” has not yet been determined.
The campaign will use digital media, highway billboards and other platforms to reach voters, CBIA said.
