The state’s largest business association has partnered with a Hartford workforce development organization to build up the pipeline of logistics and transportation workers, it announced.
The Connecticut Business and Industry Association’s Education Foundation and the Workforce Solutions Collaborative of Metro Hartford will survey a variety of companies over the next six months to identify skills required for entry-level and mid-level jobs in the logistics industry, and develop a plan to provide training.
Workforce Solutions receives funding from Capital Workforce Partners, Hartford Foundation for Public Giving, the Nutmeg Foundation and United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut.
