CBIA elects new board chair

The Connecticut Business & Industry Association has elected a JPMorgan Chase executive to be its board chair in 2023, the organization announced.

Matt McSpedon, JPMorgan Chase’s commercial banking market executive,  was elected to chair the CBIA’s board of directors earlier this month. The CBIA is the state’s largest business organization.

According to the CBIA, McSpedon works with Connecticut and Mid-Hudson, New York companies through JPMorgan Chase’s middle market banking and specialized industries business.

The CBIA board also elected Kevin Grigg, president of Manchester-based Fuss & O’Neill, and Marietta Lee, CEO, general counsel, and corporate secretary with The Lee Company in Westbrook, as vice-chairs.
