Catholic Charities Honors CL&P

Catholic Charities Inc. of the Archdiocese of Hartford presented The Connecticut Light & Power Co. a subsidiary of Northeast Utilities, with Catholic Charities’ first Corporate Help & Hope Award at its annual Help & Hope Breakfast held at the Marriott Hartford Downtown on May 15. The award was presented in recognition of CL&P’s donation of $1 million worth of tax credits to Cathedral Green Affordable Housing. This gift supports the renovation of the former Cathedral School into 28 two- and three-bedroom affordable units that will receive supportive services through Catholic Charities.
