The property that hosts Cassidy Hill Vineyard in Coventry has sold for $2.47 million, according to town land records.
The 137-acre property at 454 Cassidy Hill Road was acquired March 12 by Cassidy Hill Real Estate Holdings LLC, which is controlled by Timothy Briere, who lists a Tolland business address. Briere is the owner of Tolland-based Shelby Supply Co., an industrial machine shop, according to his LinkedIn profile.
The seller was the estate of Carol M. Chipkin, records show.
The property had been listed for sale in September 2024 with an asking price of $3 million. The offering included the vineyard business, along with a 6,116-square-foot winemaking facility and tasting room built in 2008, as well as a barn and residence.
Carol Chipkin and her husband, Robert, founded the vineyard after purchasing the property in 2001 for $685,000. Chipkin died Dec. 31, 2023, according to her obituary.
