Five months after receiving U.S. Food & Drug Administration approval, Branford’s CAS Medical Systems said it has landed the first sale of its new oximeter product.
The Fore-Sight Elite is used for non-invasive measuring oxygen levels in the brain.
Commercial sales began following an evaluation period in which a number of hospitals tested the oximeter is surgery settings, the company said.
