Carrier names new executive

Farmington-based Carrier Corp., a unit of United Technologies Corp., named Robert J. McDonough president of its residential and light commercial systems (RLCS) business. McDonough, 48, will replace Halsey Cook, who is leaving the company. Prior to his appointment, McDonough was president of RLCS distribution and aftermarket and before that, he served with Lennox International for 16 years.
