Carrier Corp. in Farmington, which makes heating, ventilating and air conditioning equipment, has acquired an air purification manufacturer.
Terms of the deal between Carrier, a subsidiary of Hartford-based United Technologies Corp., and StrionAir were not disclosed.
Carrier said the acquisition of StrionAir, which develops electronic filtration methods and products, will help it accelerate residential and commercial product development. (AP)
