Hartford homecare management company CareCentrix said it has inked a new five-year deal with New Jersey’s largest health insurer to provide home health services to nearly 3.7 million people in the Garden State.
Financial terms of the deal with Horizon Healthcare Services Inc. weren’t disclosed, but CareCentrix will manage Horizon’s Care@Home program, delivering home health services, including durable medical equipment, home infusion management and traditional home health to more than 3.7 million members.
It’s not clear when the program will start. The deal requires approval by the New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance.
CareCentrix has approximately 1,400 employees and a nationwide network of nearly 8,000 credentialed provider locations.
