Dr. Joseph Mitchel, a specialist in cardiology, has joined the medical staff of St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center.
Mitchel, who is a military veteran, completed his residency at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine in Farmington.
He will practice from Johnson Memorial Medical Center.
