Cardio Express Ride Expects To Raise $200K

Gloria Priam, owner of Priam Vineyards in Colchester, and Darren Kramer, news anchor with WTNH News 8 in New Haven, are all smiles at the Bike MS: Cardio Express Ride held Aug. 28 at the vineyard. Priam Vineyards recently became the first winery in New England to be solar-powered. Kramer, whose mother-in-law lives with multiple sclerosis, served as grand marshal of the ride and also rode 25 miles. The two-day ride, hosted by the National MS Society, Connecticut Chapter, attracted more than 200 cyclists and is expected to raise about $200,000 to benefit people living with MS.
