More than 200 aficionados of gourmet food, fine, aged spirits and locally-crafted tobacco celebrated for a great cause recently during Carbone’s 9th annual Cigar & Scotch Social in Hartford’s South End. The event raised $5,000 for the Petit Family Foundation, which works to foster education of young people, especially women in the sciences; improve the lives of those affected by chronic illnesses and support efforts to protect and help those affected by violence. Pictured are ESPN’s Colin Cowherd, left, and Paul Pasqualoni, UConn head football coach.
