A car dealership recently purchased a 12,000-square-foot commercial and industrial building in New Haven for $530,000.
Unique Auto Sales LLC bought the site, known as the former Shuster Mettler Corporation building. It includes 0.75 acres at 485 Ella Grasso Blvd., also known as 155 Adeline St.
The company’s principal is listed as Angela Garcia, with a current business address of 392 East St., New Haven, according to the secretary of the state’s office. The dealership, which sells used vehicles, plans to move to the Ella Grasso Boulevard site.
Fred A. Messore, senior vice president of Colonial Properties Inc. in Orange, was sole broker in the sale. The seller was Worldwide Classic Car Consulting LLC.
In another recent deal for Colonial, Realtor Tom Woodward represented the landlord, Huntington Woods LLC, in the leasing of approximately 1,527 square feet of retail space at 702 Bridgeport Ave, Suite 101B, Shelton.

A cigar store and smoke shop is planned for the space, and the lease is for five years, according to Colonial. Financial terms of the lease were not disclosed.
Michael Richetelli, president and designated broker of Colonial Properties, said the company is seeing “robust activity across the commercial markets” as 2021 comes to an end.
“These two transactions demonstrate demand in both the industrial and retail sectors,” Richetelli said. “Investment properties as well as multi-family and raw land also continue to be strong, with office lagging.”
