Capital Workforce Partners has launched its annual Summer Youth Employment and Learning Program for young people hoping to make money and gain work experience later this year.
The program connects youth in north central Connecticut and Hartford between 14 and 24 years old with paying summer jobs and career readiness training. Per CWP, wages in the program range from $12 to $14 per hour.
During the six-week program, participants will be placed with employers in high-demand sectors like retail, education, and health care at worksites throughout the capital region.
