East Windsor officials Tuesday night will hear a petition by a Meriden-based cannabis company seeking to open a retail shop.
Meriden-based Quinnipiac Valley Growth Partners is seeking to open a 1,125-square-foot cannabis retail shop in a multi-tenant shopping center at 4 Prospect Hill Road.
The center currently hosts two restaurants — Mei Tzu and Elizabeth’s — along with the Staffmark staffing center and Express Cuts barber shop. The targeted space was recently configured to serve as a chiropractic and massage therapy office, but had previously served a retailer, according to QVGP’s application.
The town’s Planning and Zoning Commission, during its Tuesday meeting, will consider QVGP’s petition for a special use permit.
