Calling all kids: NHB seeks under-18 entrepreneurs

New Haven BIZ is seeking young entrepreneurs in south-central Connecticut for a feature story in an upcoming issue.

Specifically, the business publication is looking for entrepreneurs under age 18 who have started a company in the last two years that is active and in business today.

“We know Connecticut has hundreds of enterprising young people with amazing ideas for new products, new services — and new companies to make them a reality,” said NHB Editor Michael C. Bingham. “We’re hoping to shed a positive light on some of those young entrepreneurs and in doing so help their dreams and ambitions come to fruition.”

Ideally, the company would be incorporated in Connecticut and have revenues. “We are looking for companies above the level of, say, a lemonade stand or babysitting business — not that there’s anything wrong with those!” Bingham said.
