A California-based senior care franchise says it has opened a sixth Connecticut location in Wallingford.
Always Best Care Senior Services, a provider of non-medical in-home care, assisted living placement services and skilled home health care, has planted its newest location at 20 Ives Road.
The company, headquartered in Roseville, Calif., also has locations in Manchester, Bristol, Milford, Southbury and Norwalk.
The Wallingford site is owned and operated by first-time franchisee Linda Craig, and will serve residents in several communities, including Cheshire, Meriden, East Haven, Branford, Hamden and others.
Craig, a Wallingford resident for over three decades, most recently was a regional business development manager in New England and New York for oncology and pathology businesses owned by LabCorp, according to her LinkedIn page.
She has also worked in the pharmaceutical industry and laboratory management.
