Cindy Butts has assumed duties as chief executive officer of The Connecticut Association of Realtors Inc. (CAR).
Butts served 24 years as the CEO of the Maine Real Estate Information System, a statewide MLS based in Portland. She also has been president of a consulting company that provides association management and other services to the National Association of Realtors and other real estate associations nationwide.
Butts has worked in both the Chicago and Washington, D.C., offices of the National Association of Realtors. She is a past chairman of NAR’s Association Executives Committee and a past recipient of NAR’s William R. Magel Award of Excellence in Association Management.
