Butterfly Network Inc. of Guilford, a digital health and medical imaging company, recently named Timothy Trodden as its senior vice president and chief human resources officer.
The appointment was effective April 19.
In this newly created position, Trodden will oversee hiring, developing and retaining talent, fostering the company’s culture, and upgrading human resources practices and systems.
Dr. Todd Fruchterman, president and CEO, said investing in the company’s people and culture is “pivotal” to its success.
“We are very excited to bring on a seasoned leader like Tim,” Fruchterman said in an announcement.
Trodden most recently spent four years at managed healthcare company WellCare Health Plans Inc., where he led its human resources functions. Trodden also has 16 years of experience at Johnson & Johnson, where he had various human resources roles.
Butterfly Network created the first handheld, single probe whole-body ultrasound system.
