The Bushnell theater has launched a mobile app that allows customers to purchase tickets using Apple Pay.
Its technology partner, Tickets.com, said that makes the theater the first entertainment venue in the country to offer an in-app Apple Pay option for buying event tickets.
The Bushnell uses Tickets.com’s ProVenue ticketing platform. Tickets.com said it expects to roll out in-app purchasing options to Major League Baseball teams and other clients.
