The Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art CEO Jeffrey N. Brown has been appointed to the Connecticut Tourism Council, as a member who represents the museum industry.
He was appointed by House Republican Leader Vincent J. Candelora.
The 26-member Connecticut Tourism Council was established in 2019 to review and approve or recommend changes to the strategic marketing plan developed by the Department of Economic and Community Development.
Brown has served as CEO at the Wadsworth since October 2021, and as a trustee since 2012. He previously served as a senior executive at Newman’s Own and Webster Financial Corp.
