Wallingford’s Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices New England, New York and Westchester Properties says it has expanded its Connecticut footprint after acquiring a Newtown residential brokerage.
Berkshire Hathaway-New England CEO Candace Adams announced the purchase of Barbara Frey Real Estate LLC, 84 S. Main Main St., a boutique firm whose turf covers Fairfield and New Haven counties, for unspecified terms.
With Barbara Frey’s 28 agents, Berkshire Hathaway New England counts more than 1,800 real-estate professionals in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York and Rhode Island.
