Bristol’s Economic and Community Development Department has been recognized for its “Made in Bristol” video series.
The department, together with MazzMedia, which collaborated to make the video segments, received silver Telly Awards, which honor video and television productions across the country.
The videos, which were released in the fall of 2020, were aimed at promoting the success of several small Bristol businesses. Featured businesses included the Parkside Cafe, Main Street Pint & Plate, Pure Foods, Firefly Hollow Brewing and Cafe Real.
Bristol economic development officials said the videos succeeded in telling the many positive stories of small business leaders who call Bristol home.
“The ‘Made in Bristol’ videos were created to promote Bristol through the eyes of some of our most unique and successful independent small businesses,” said Justin Malley, Bristol’s executive director of Economic and Community Development. “We thank all the businesses that have taken part and look forward to creating new videos in the future.”
