Bristol-based industrial, medical and machined components and systems manufacturer Novo Precision LLC acquired Core Plating Technologies, a Bristol manufacturer that makes plating barrels, tanks, and components for the metal finishing industry.
Under the deal, Core Plating Technologies will begin operating under the name Novo Metal Finishing Equipment, according to the company. Novo Precision will continue to provide assembly, cut-to-length services, system components and other work under the Novo Precision name.
“Novo MFE supports the Novo Core Mission ‘To Simply Solve Our Customer’s Problem’ and provides technical solutions to the metal finishing industry,” Novo President William Hazard said. “We are excited to welcome Novo MFE to the Novo family.”
Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
Andre Kucinskas, who was president of Core Plating, will stay on as head of Novo Metal Finishing Equipment.
“We are excited to be a part of the Novo family and look forward to continuing our growth as Novo MFE,” Kucinskas said. “Our customers seek out our expertise and experience in metal finishing and we are proud to continue to provide solutions locally.”
