Bristol Hospital is officially opening its larger, state-of-the-art pharmacy on Saturday, authorities say.
At 6:30 p.m. Thursday, the 90-year-old hospital is previewing the facility to the media as well as its board of directors, senior officers and medical staff.
The round-the-clock facility located on the hospital’s Level B is double the size of the previous pharmacy and features a cutting-edge clean room for preparation of sterile products and a secure walk-in vault for the security of controlled substances.
