Bristol-based Etter Engineering has partnered with Boston bio-fuel firm Lifecycle Renewables to distribute its products.
Lifecycle makes heating fuels from waste cooking oil and fats at its refinery in the Charlestown neighborhood of Boston. Its main product is the LR100, which can be used as a replacement for businesses and residents that heat their homes with fuel oil.
In addition to being distributor, Etter will act as a field service agent for the LR100.
Etter President Tom Etter said the LR100 will be an alternative for customer who can’t convert to natural gas and won’t require the make upfront capital investment that a natural gas conversion would.
