Bridgeport to host biz energy efficiency seminar

The City of Bridgeport will hold an educational seminar for businesses Friday to learn more about energy efficiency and its benefits for the community.

The New Strategies for Changing Communities informational breakfast seminar starts at 8:30 a.m. Friday at Margaret E. Morton Government Center on 999 Broad Street in Bridgeport.

The event is designed to give small business owners, community leaders, residents and houses of worship a rundown of Connecticut’s energy efficiency programs, eligibility for businesses, and the savings associated with each program.

Energize Connecticut – a community program designed around the state’s main energy boards – will co-sponsor the event along with Shiloh Baptist Church.
