Breeze Airways announced it will debut early next year nonstop service to two new southern routes out of Bradley International Airport.
Breeze, a low-cost carrier with a growing presence at the Windsor Locks airport, will begin offering Thursday and Sunday services to Daytona Beach, Florida, and Wilmington, North Carolina, beginning Feb. 13, 2025.
Connecticut Airport Authority Executive Director Kevin Dillon and Breeze Founder and CEO David Neeleman touted the new routes as an example of the airline company’s popularity at Bradley. In May, Breeze debuted five new nonstop flights from the airport and two one-stop flights.
The new route announcement comes just a few weeks after Avelo Airlines, another low-cost carrier with a growing footprint in Connecticut, announced it would be expanding its regional base from Tweed New Haven Airport to Bradley International Airport in November. As part of that expansion, Avelo will offer seven nonstop weekly flights, including to both Wilmington and Daytona Beach.
