The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency named Branford HVAC company Controlled Air, Inc. one of the EPA combined heat and power partners.
Combined heat and power, or CHP, refers to capturing the waste heat from generators or other electric supply equipment and using it for heating and cooling.
As an EPA CHP partner, Controlled Air is given special access to tools, services, and benefits to further develop CHP technologies, as well as information on rebates and incentives for customers.
In the right applications, Controlled Air believes CHP systems can yield a return on investment for customers in as little as 2.5 years.
