Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks will have its first nonstop service to Fort Myers, Fla. starting on Feb. 12.
Southwest Airlines will operate seasonal nonstop service between Windsor Locks and Southwest Florida International Airport from Feb. 12 to April 9. No other airline flies nonstop out of Bradley to Fort Myers.
Bradley believes the additional destination to a warm weather climate will be popular during the upcoming New England winter, said Airport Administrator Eric Waldron, in the Fort Myers announcement. The airport also offers nonstops to Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach and San Juan, Pueto Rico through various airlines.
Southwest Airlines will operate the Fort Myers nonstop once roundtrip daily, leaving Windsor Locks at 7:35 a.m. with the returning flight leaving Fort Myers at 7:25 p.m.
