Bradley International Airport is offering travelers automated flight updates through Twitter, the Connecticut Airport Authority announced.
TIC, a technology company based in Cork, Ireland, developed the application, which has also been introduced at the Dubai International, Melbourne, and London City airports, the authority said. TIC says it handles Twitter messages for a combined 170 million passengers a year.
Passengers flying through Bradley can keep up to date about their flights by visiting a dedicated page on Twitter, https://twitter.com/BDLFlightInfo, or by registering for the service through Bradley flight arrival and departure pages, www.flybdl.org.
