The ownership group of the Bradley Hotel in Windsor Locks has field for Ch. 11 bankruptcy.
According to court papers filed Friday in Hartford bankruptcy court, Beverly Hills Suites LLC, which operates the hotel and meetings property at 383 South Center St., estimated its assets between $0 and $50,000 and liabilities between $1 million and $10 million.
Under Chapter 11, a company is shielded from creditors while it works out a court-approved plan to repay creditors.
New Haven attorney Peter L. Ressler, who is representing Beverly Hills Suites LLC, said the company is working on an reorganization plan that it hopes to present to the court within 90 days.
“We expect to successfully reorganize,” Ressler said.
A hotel spokesman declined to comment on the bankruptcy proceedings.
According to its website, The Bradley Hotel has 165 guest rooms, an indoor heated pool, exercise room and business center.
It also hosts weddings and other events for up to 850 people.
