Bradley Airport returning to normal after storm

Bradley International Airport is returning to normal after the Hartford area’s biggest snow storm ever, The Associated Press reports.

Spokesman John Wallace said Thursday that between 25 and 30 planes were ready for departure Thursday, about half the normal schedule.

He also said no flights were canceled as of Thursday morning. Bradley serves Connecticut and western Massachusetts.

Wallace said three or four cargo planes and an Air Canada commercial flight departed Bradley during the storm on Wednesday. The airport remained open.

The National Weather Service says 22.5 inches were recorded at Bradley by 1 p.m. Wednesday, setting a one-day record for the Hartford area.
