The Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford hired Samantha Slade as development manager.
She will help manage fundraising efforts and special events.
Slade most recently worked as assistant director of communications operations for alumni and parent relations at Wesleyan University. She has worked for nonprofits for more than eight years.
